Concealed Carry Options

absolutely nothing, but i ask how easy is it to get a carry permit over there ?
its not that i am against this, its more me trying to understand, the population of our capital is so small it doesnt even rank as a city to american standards.
also gun laws are very strict here, the biggest caliber allowed is .38 i think, restricted ownership of pistols ect, just wierd outside looking in.

Being able to carry is part of America’s freedom that we have secured for over 200 years. ALSO I get tired of hearing how “your” country (not only your’s but others) has really low crime. Of course it’s low, you have such a low population. (Population of Iceland: 304,367 (July 2008 est.)
Same goes for other people who live in other countries. We have over 300 million people here in the united states. Canada has 31 million, the UK has 61million. The more people, the more crime. It’s a simple fact

I carry one every day. I doubt I’ll ever need it, but there is strong statistical evidence that the more law-abiding citizens carry, the less violent crime there is (the 38 US states that have liberalized carry laws have seen significant benefits).

That’s why I carry — to make my community a safer place, even though I expect never to use it.
