Does a concealed carry permit from Kentucky carry over to Texas?

I am in the military and stationed in Ky. I know Texas and kentucky have an agreement that a ky lisc can carry in texas and vise versa, but i dont know if that works in i move back to texas..
Thanks for all who gave there input here..The answer is(i talked to Kentucky and texas DPS office) That texas would recognize it as long as the liscense is valid. The tricky part is once i change my residence out of kentucky my liscense is no longer valid…So to make a long story short the andswer is no..

nope, you will have to re-do everything in the state of texas- make sure you are 24, take the classes, practice , re apply and then you can receive it.

I have not lived in TX but have a concealed carry in KY and have lived in 13 states. I was also a police officer in IL. As far as I know Concealed carries do not transfer from state to state. Some are honored in other states but that is for non citizens visiting. You will probably have to go through the course or whatever is required in TX to get a new one there.

If you PCS into Texas, you will need to apply for their permit.
