After spending all the time to get a concealed carry permit I now need to work out how I am going to carry my handgun.

I have considered a holster in my clothes, but to be honest I don’t want to run the nice outfits I have. So my other option is to look for a concealed carry purse, or a concealed carry handbag depending on where you are from.

So what should I look for in a purse?

I would like to buy more than one handbag to carry my concealed gun in, so I can carry it with me no matter what outfit I have and where I am going.

Anyone have any tips on what to look for when buying a purse to carry my legally licensed concealed carry handgun.

I am also wondering if I should look for one that allows a mini lock of some sort so that I can make sure my firearm is secure.

Does having my pistol in a handbag constitute it being concealed?
