I have a Springfield XD45 4″ service model and after I get my concealed carry permit I will be looking for a holster to carry it around in.

I wear jeans a lot of the time, but there are also occasions when I have to wear a shirt and suit jacket. I know I may need different holsters for different situations but I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars before I even start and then find it’s the wrong holster.

Are leather holsters best for a concealed carry holster or should I try a nylon holster?
